A Boilerplate Oyster is not quickly farmed raised like its aquaculture contemporaries. It's a reproductive, cage-free, bag-free, native Crassostrea Virginica oyster allowed to grow naturally wild as it has for more than 5,000 years from beds on the York River near the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Its heavyweight shell is 3x the thickness and strength of a typically farmed oyster. Boilerplate's have a large identifiable hinge that allows them to be easily opened without shattering.

Delicious Boilerplate oysters are professionally shucked in a BRC Certified oyster house and delivered fresh. The remaining oyster shells are used to reseed oyster beds for future generations of sustainable Boilerplate Oysters. We shuck oysters so you won't have to.
Certified Blue Crab Meat
Every year (April - Novmeber) our Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab is caught, sorted, cooked, cooled, picked, graded, packaged and delivered fresh overnight. The whole process is completed within 48 hours. And our Blue Crab meat is BRC Certified.
